What Pocket Semester stores and shares.

Signed-in workspaces store your profile, budgets, transactions, category rules, goals, and saved coach plans in the project database. The public demo uses fictional browser-only data and resets when you reload.

AI requests

When you ask for categorization or a coach plan, Pocket Semester sends the relevant merchant, description, amount, and budget context to its configured AI provider. The current public demo labels Gemini as its runtime provider. Pocket Semester does not ask for bank credentials.

Deleting data

“Delete budget data” removes saved transactions, budgets, goals, merchant rules, and coach plans. It leaves the sign-in account active so you can start over later.
